IT major cognizont will lay least 6000 workers as part of routine annual reviews to weed out nonoperformers. This represent 2%of its total workforce of 2.6Lakh employees, as on december 31,2016."any actions as the result of this process are performance-based and generally consistent with hose who have made in previous years," said  a spokesperson for the company
