Government to issue plastic notes now!

Five cicties across the country will be the first to start using the plastic bank notes of Rs 10 denomination. The finance ministry has reportedly given the go-head to the RBI to start the procurement of raw materials for the printing of notes. the notes will last longer and will be more difficult to counterfeit. The cities selected for the trail are Kochi, mysuru, Jaipur, Shimla and Bhubaneshwar.
